The project aimed to feature Pankaj Tripathi portraying the ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and that kinda was a good decision because he pulled off the character so well that everyone liked it so far. Advani, Daya Shankar Pandey as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, and Payal Nair as Indira Gandhi.

Director and Creative Team

The director for this film was Ravi Jadhav, who, along with Rishi Virmani, also wrote the story and prepared how the great life of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee should unfold on big screens. It was produced under Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, and Kamlesh Bhanushali. Cinematography was handled by Lawrence D’Cunha, with editing done by Bunty Nagi. Followed by music composition from Salim-Sulaiman, Payal Dev, Kailash Kher, and Amitraj, the background score was arranged by Monty Sharma.

Storyline

If you know just a little bit about this film so far, you’d have the idea that this movie takes one through the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee from his early days in politics to assuming office as the Prime Minister of India. It sheds light on critical events such as the Pokhran nuclear tests and the Kargil War, as well as personal details like his fondness for poetry and close friendships.

Budget and Box Office

The proposed production budget was somewhere near the value of ₹20 crore. At the box office, the film earned around ₹8.65 crore. Since the film did not even recover its cost, it was declared a box office failure.
