Cast and Characters
The film starred R. Sarathkumar as SP Loganathan, a senior and experienced police officer. Ashok Selvan played DSP Prakash, a young and determined police officer. Nikhila Vimal appeared as the character of Veena, who gets drawn into the investigation. Other actors included Sarath Babu, Nizhalgal Ravi, Sunil Sukhada, and Santhosh Keezhattoor, each of whom fit into the narrative picture very well.

It is none other than Vignesh Raja who has directed Por Thozhil, marking his debut as a filmmaker. He jointly wrote the screenplay with Alfred Prakash. Storyline
The story follows when newly appointed DSP Prakash, who is teamed up with SP Loganathan, to solve a murder case. In the course of their investigation, they find a pattern in the killings and immediately realize that they are dealing with a serial murderer. Together, they must apprehend the murderer before more people are killed. And sure enough, it seems like a typical mystery thriller movie on the surface, but you’ll be kinda amazed by how the story unfolds, so that is why it is a must-watch.

Produced in a budget of around ₹7 to 8 crore, the film proved to be a huge box-office hit, earning nearly ₹50 crore worldwide, thus making Por Thozhil a huge success based on production.
