Realme is a Chinese multinational consumer electronics manufacturer founded in the year 2018. It is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Realme started as a sub-brand of Oppo, however it later became a separate brand. The brand is mainly known for its smartphones, such as Realme GT Series, Realme X, Realme C Series and more. Other products in Realme’s portfolio include tablets, smart televisions, laptops, smartwatches, earphones and power banks. Realme operates in over 27 markets covering Asia, Russia, Europe and Australia.
Realme entered India in the year 2018 and is the fourth largest smartphone brand in the country since the year 2019. In February 2020, Realme launched India’s first 5G smartphone, Realme X50 Pro 5G. The company offers a wide range of its smartphone models in the Indian market, including Realme Narzo, Realme GT Series and Realme C Series, alongside other products like smart televisions, smart watches, earbuds and power banks. Realme manufactures a majority of its smartphones in India.
Brand Ambassador of Realme
Actor Vicky Kaushal was appointed the brand ambassador of Realme in July 2025, ahead of the launch of Realme 15 Series. Vicky Kaushal features in the promotional campaign for the 15 Series, showcasing the latest features of the phones. The brand seeks to leverage the popularity of the actor among both millennials and Gen Z.
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan became the brand ambassador of Realme in May 2023. He was roped in to specifically promote the Realme 11 Pro 5G Series. He starred in the company’s ‘Dare to Leap’ campaign showcasing the innovative features of the series.
Actor Shaheed Kapoor was appointed as the brand ambassador of Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G Series in March 2024. Superstar Salman Khan became the brand ambassador of Realme in the year 2020. He endorsed Realme smartphones, such as Realme 6, 6 Pro and Realme 7 and 8 Series.
Actress Shraddha Kapoor became the brand ambassador of Realme’s smart products like Realme Buds and Band in the year 2020.
